Who Else Wants to Save on International Calls?
Globalization has been the mark of the recent decades and it has caused a great shift in the demographics of various regions. As a result, there are no demarcated areas with set characteristics like before but it is the whole world which is open to being inhabited by anyone at any location of his choice. This has led to an increase in the number of travelers who migrate away from their country of origin for a number of reasons and need to communicate regularly with their families or corporate offices. Therefore, there are a number of segments within the population who depend on calling cards for making international calls and save money in the process.
In the opinion of a calling card company and the service provider, the following would be the target customers who would like to use these cards as a method of saving on international calls:
- Employees of multinational companies who are sent to various locations around the world to monitor the office which is located there.
- Overseas students who travel to other countries for the quest of knowledge and need to keep in touch with their families back home.
- Parents of school-going or college-going children who attend various camps far away from home as a requisite of the curriculum.
- People who do not prefer to use a cell phone can rely on calling cards to make the few calls which are obligatory.
- International tourists with a penchant to explore the world and visit new and different places to learn about different cultures.
- Members of social service organizations and global organizations who need to travel to disturbed and stricken areas to serve humanity.
These are the people who depend on phone cards as a way of saving on international calls which is their lifeline outside the country.
